What should I wear?

If you asked me what the dress code is, I’d say cocktail attire. If you asked me again, I’d say we’re aiming for glam but loosey goosey, like a Golden Globes after party vibe.

Can I wear white?

Yeah, go for it. I’ll probably be in hot pink or something chaotic. Wear whatever you want!

Why can’t I find an Airbnb?

Erm, yeah, so New York doesn’t do Airbnb anymore (you can read more about the city’s short-term rental ban from my employer). This may make finding a place to stay more difficult. We’re really sorry! If you can book early, it’s probably wise to do so.

What’s the full plan for the weekend? Will there be other events on Friday and Sunday?

Yes! We’re doing Friday night welcome drinks at Talea in Cobble Hill. There will be a big snack spread (but if you are the kind of person who needs a full dinner, get that beforehand!).

We do not have current plans for a Sunday brunch. I expect you all to be either deeply unwell by that point OR paired off into small groups and indulgently gossiping about us.

Will there be transportation to the venue?

Yes! It’s called the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and it will transfer you from literally anywhere in the city to our venue for a mere $2.90!

In all seriousness: The Morgan stop on the L train is the closest to our venue. As the New Yorkers among us know, sometimes the subway runs on its own time, so please allow more time than you expect to get to the venue. You can use Google Maps to make your subway plan.

Depending on where the majority of our guests end up staying, we may dispatch some friends to escort groups to the train. (Friends: If you’re reading this, you’ve been warned.)

Can I bring my kids?

It’s a movie theater! Of COURSE!

If I catch a matinee on Broadway on Saturday, can I still make it to the wedding on time?

We have thought about specifically timing the ceremony so that you can make it to a matinee, but listen, it might be tight. I’d allow 45 minutes to get from the theater to the venue.

I can’t make it. Will there be a livestream?

Probably not, sorry. We are an accountant and a writer, we don’t know how to camera.

SOON! We are still figuring out how to create a form on the internet. Once we have learned this, we’ll open said form, and you can RSVP whenever you want. (But you can also text us and say YAY, that’s so nice and helpful, ty.)
